A support group brings together people facing similar issues, whether that’s related to illness, relationship problems or major life changes. They offer a forum where people can give and receive both emotional and practical support as well exchange information.
At Long Beach Medical Center, our Support Groups are led by trained professionals who facilitate an environment of support, guidance and education. They serve as a resource to people facing similar concerns and promote sharing of experiences and advice.
