Long Beach Medical Center, first chartered in 1922, is a 362 bed health care institution comprising 162 acute care beds, 200 long-term care beds and numerous outpatient programs.
We are situated on a magnificent barrier beach island that has more than three miles of white, sandy beach within walking distance of the hospital.
We are fully approved by the American Osteopathic Association for 14 rotating osteopathic interns as well as 24 family practice osteopathic residents, 6 Osteopathic Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation residents and 2 Geriatric fellows.
