If you or someone you love is experiencing a gambling addiction, help is available. Long Beach Medical Center is certified by New York State Office of Alcohol and Substance Abuse Services to provide treatment to individuals and their families who are experiencing problems related to gambling addiction.
Long Beach Medical Center’s staff include certified Counselors who have received extensive training in this area and provide a range of services to address the unique needs of this population.
Services include an individualized assessment and treatment plan for each individual. Group sessions deal with the nature of compulsive gambling, denial and recovery, the relapse process, relapse prevention and other pertinent issues. Once treatment is completed, referrals are made to continuing care groups such as Gamblers Anonymous and Gam-Anon as appropriate.

Fees:
Long Beach Medical Center accepts Medicaid, Medicare and most insurances. A sliding fee scale based on family size and income is available for individuals without insurance or whose insurance does not cover addiction treatment. No one is denied help because of inability to pay.
