Comprehensive Breast Health Services at LBMC

Long Beach Medical Center is committed to the prevention, education, early detection and treatment of breast disease in women and men in the communities we serve.

As part of our comprehensive care, we offer prevention and awareness programs, high quality treatment services and most importantly, compassionate support for those affected, making Long Beach Medical Center a trusted resource for anyone concerned with breast health issues.

At Long Beach Medical Center, we believe you shouldn't need to travel outside of your community to receive high quality health care.  Our breast health services provide coordinated care close to home, eliminating the need to travel to distant facilities and providing a supportive network for you and your loved ones.

We invite you to learn more about our breast health services by viewing the information here on our website and for additional information, please call our Breast Health Alliance at (516) 897-1344.

Please Help Our Digital Mammography Campaign!

As Chief Academic Officer, a practicing physician in the community, and a patient of Long Beach Medical Center, I appreciate the need for women’s health care here in Long Beach. The Medical Center serves many families and we strive to provide the high quality care that they expect and deserve.

Breast disease is of particular concern to these families and of particular interest to the physicians and staff of the Medical Center.  To enhance our breast disease services, we have formed “The Breast Health Alliance,” whose members will raise funds for the acquisition of a state of the art digital mammography unit.  Digital mammography helps detect breast cancer cells when they are extremely small, offering the benefits of early detection, when treatments are often most successful.

We invite you to join us in this worthwhile cause by joining our Breast Health Alliance and participating in some of the fundraising events we have planned.  Extra hands are always welcome … and will help make our goal that much more achievable!
