The Breast Health Alliance was established to raise awareness among community residents about breast health services at Long Beach Medical Center and to help raise funds to initiate new programs and technologies for breast cancer patients.
Comprised of a dynamic group of women from the surrounding communities, the Alliance has launched its first fundraising campaign, which is to finance the purchase of a new digital mammography unit at the Medical Center. A series of fundraising activities will be held throughout the year to accomplish this goal.
