IPRO 2011 Patient Safety Initiative Award
The Island Peer Review Organization (IPRO), the Medicare quality improvement organization for New York State, presented Long Beach Medical Center with its IPRO Patient Safety Initiative Award in recognition of the Medical Center’s organization-wide initiative regarding education, training, measuring and reporting information related to improving the care and management of patients with or at risk for pressure ulcers.
